FALL 2014 BWOs, Browns and Bows!

Another beautiful, Fall season continues across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Most outdoorsman have their rifles ready and their bows out. We never put down our fly rods. I love the technical skill and patience that the BWO hatch brings. The anticipation of knowing your fly is in the lane of a large fall brown or rainbow is palpable. If the wind picks up too much or if the CFS was high, you can run streamers through some well known pocket water and deeper holes. It's easy to see we have been blessed this fall with browns of all sizes. If you haven't thrown some size 18-20 BWOs for large, lazy browns, you are missing out.
